His biggest hits were "That Ain't My Truck" (No. 3, 1995) and "Don't Get Me Started" (his lone No. 1 song from 1996). Rhett Akins had a band by the time he was eleven. In 1992, he moved to Nashville to follow his dream of becoming a country music star. He received a record deal from Decca Records after they heard a few of his demos.
